Year 13 Awards Evening 2017

On Monday 18th December 2017 we welcomed back our successful leavers from the class of 2017.  It was great to see so many familiar faces and the atmosphere was fantastic.  The students and their guests were able to mingle with each other over a drink and swap stories on their exploits since leaving us in the Summer.

Our guest speaker was an ex-student, Kristian Foreman, who gave an excellent speech demonstrating how many doors St Aidan’s can open for young people if they put their minds to it.  He has travelled extensively and has engaged in exciting projects all around the world.  Kristian presented both our A-Level certificates and our special awards and the recipients and their guests were very moved by the whole evening.

It was great to welcome back members of the St Aidan’s community and it brought into sharp focus why education is such an important tool in the lives of our young people.
