Archaeology Club

Summary of the activity:

Compliment your history learning with our interactive archaeology enrichment club. Activities will include mini-excavations, handling replica and real artefacts and craft activities, to help you experience what life might have been like in the past.

Based both in the classroom and outdoors, this club provides pupils the opportunity to explore their local history through artefacts and discussions. Pupils will engage with a trained archaeologist who will talk to them about different items found in history, as well as provide the opportunity for them to excavate areas of land to find out about their local past.
