PREVENT Training for All

All staff and students are now fully training in PREVENT.

On Thursday 26th September, Sharon and Peter from Safervision joined us in school for the day to help develop awareness and to educate us on the Governments PREVENT strategy.

The presentation included information around radicalisation and how people can become radicalised, also allowing us to recognise the signs.  Sharon spent time explaining how the PREVENT strategy sits within terrorism and how this can occur through many political groups, some of which our students were not aware of.

Students were also educated in the RUN TELL HIDE initiative, advice that will remain with them forever.
