Inter-house piano recital

Year 7 were treated to a fantastic piano recital on Wednesday afternoon. The afternoon began with the whole audience taking part in a performance of George Ezra’s Paradise. Then talented students from years 7 to 10 performed a composition of their choice for the captivated audience. The talent displayed by these students was tremendous and they are to be greatly applauded for their performances. The performers also managed to secure points for their respective houses, with Ashbrooke winning with 2,400 points to Brookfield’s 1700 and Corby’s 900.

The afternoon ended brilliantly with two songs from the St Aidan’s orchestra which again included students from all year groups.
