On 21st March 2018 a group of 30 Year 10 pupils from St Aidan’s and 30 pupils fromDt Anthony’s were involved in a workshop with Lucy, a graduate from Oxford University.  Lucy is from North Yorkshire and studied History.

Lucy talked to the group about the courses available to them as well as what it is like to live independently.  Many pupils believed it was more expensive to study at Oxford and that it was out of their reach but now understand that they have the same chance of attending as any other young person in Britain.

Thank you Lucy for taking time out to speak to our pupils.  It has certainly planted a few inspirational seeds for their future.
