Legacy Giving
At St. Aidan’s, we take immense pride in the achievements of our alumni, many of whom continue to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. As Sir Isaac Newton once said, “If I have seen a little further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” This quote perfectly encapsulates the enduring legacy of our school, where the support and contributions of those who came before us help pave the way for future generations. As a school belonging to the Edmund Rice Global Network, we are inspired by the work of Edmund Rice, who was moved by the Gospels to reach out to those in need. Alongside a group of like-minded individuals, he established a religious congregation dedicated to improving the lives of the disadvantaged through transformational education. Today, St. Aidan’s continues this mission by providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for all pupils. Legacy giving offers a meaningful opportunity to give back to the school community, whether through time, resources, or charitable donations. These contributions are invaluable in helping us enhance to our career programme, develop essential life skills, and provide academic and extracurricular awards that recognise the achievements of our pupils. Additionally, legacy gifts enable us to support some of our most vulnerable pupils, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has access to the same opportunities for success. Through scholarships and bursaries, we can provide financial support to those who need it most, helping them access a breadth of opportunities both in and beyond the classroom. Your support helps us sustain an inclusive and aspirational learning environment, empowering all pupils to reach their full potential. |

“Were we to know the merit of only going from one street to another to serve a neighbour for the love of God, we should prize it more than Gold or Silver…
One thing you may be sure of, that whilst you work for God, whether you succeed or not, he will amply reward you”
-Blessed Edmund Rice.
