English Trip to London

London 2020.  What an adventure!

The English London trip was absolutely amazing.  Jam packed with sightseeing, historical context and a lot of fun!   First stop was the Natural History Museum where we had the chance to see the world famous roaring T.rex and explore the museum.  We stepped back into history at the Charles Dickens Museum where we saw the very desk he wrote some of his most famous work at!  We sailed along the Thames and saw the awe-inspiring sights of London (in the chilling winter London air).  The Hard Rock Café was the first ever of their chain and not only did we enjoy a beautiful meal, we also saw some rare (and expensive) memorabilia from stars such as John Lennon, David Bowie and Madonna.   Matilda the Musical was superb!  The boys instantly engaged and lost themselves in the magic and atmosphere of the west end.    After a good night sleep, we headed down to Southbank for some well earned souvenir shopping before an inspiring tour around Shakespeare’s Globe theatre where we watched the performers of Macbeth rehearse live on the ornate period stage.   We arrived home exhausted from the busy itinerary, the boys were a credit to themselves and our school and we loved every minute of the trip!
