Another year of OUTSTANDING GCSE results 2017-18!

Students, Staff and Governors at St Aidan’s Catholic Academy are celebrating an outstanding set of examination results this year at GCSE.

GCSE results at St Aidan’s Catholic Academy bucked the trend for boys nationally with 84% achieving an 9-4 grade in English and 73% achieving an 9-4 grade in Math’s.

Other key headlines include (unvalidated):

Percentage of students achieving a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths: 70%

Percentage of students achieving a grade 5 or above in both English and Maths: 58%

Progress 8: +0.04

Attainment 8: 50.52

% Ebacc Entry: 51%

 

The results have enabled many to sign up for their first choice sixth form courses with others securing their chosen apprenticeship or college course.
